Emily joined January 2021 on the Mastodon sports medicine staff as an Assistant Athletic Trainer and has been promoted to Associate Head Athletic Trainer in June 2024. In addition to working with her sporting assignments, she is the insurance coordinator and CPR instructor here at Purdue Fort Wayne. She completed a graduate assistant position at Ohio University in 2018, completing her Master of Science in Post-Professional Athletic Training. Prior to this she graduated from The Ohio State University with her bachelor's degree in athletic training. Her professional interests include mental health and manual therapy. | Ana joined the Mastodon sports medicine staff as an Assistant Athletic Trainer July 2023. Ana graduated with her Bachelor's in Kinesiology in 2021 from University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, and is a recent graduate from Ohio University with her Master's of Athletic Training in 2023. She currently provides care for our men's soccer and softball teams here at Purdue Fort Wayne. Her professional interests include injury prevention and manual therapy. | Leo is starting his third year on the Mastodons sports medicine staff. Leo is no stranger to Purdue Fort Wayne- prior to being hired on full time, he was a graduate assistant on our sports medicine team, working with men's soccer. Prior to his time here, Leo worked a year long internship at Coastal Carolina University, working primarily with men's soccer and women's beach volleyball. He received his bachelor's degree in Athletic Training from Indiana University-Bloomington. His professional interests include manual therapy, injury prevention, and mental health. Mikayla joined the Mastodon sports medicine staff in December 2022. She graduated with her bachelor's degree in Athletic Training from Carroll University in 2018, and more recently with her Master of Education from Ohio Valley University in 2021. She is well-versed in working a variety of sports: basketball, soccer, acrobats and tumbling, and softball to name a few.
